How to Access your Email

This module will teach you how to access your email through RankSpace

The Basics

1 Sign In

Once you arrive at the email interface, simply enter your user name and password, then click “Sign In”.

This will bring you to your email folders interface.

2 Go to Inbox

When you first come to the email folders interface you will find the basic folders with your emails in the “Inbox”.

Your email commands, such as to reply and forward, can be found in the top right of the screen as shown above.

3 Transfer File

In addition to responding to emails, you may wish to transfer them to another file. You can easily do this by clicking and holding the left mouse button while hovering over an email, dragging it to the folder you want to put it in, and releasing the mouse button.

Advanced Organizational Features

Now you have the basics down, we’ll explore the settings and some advanced organizational features of our email system.

Once again we will start from the point following your having signed in to your KAW Solutions email account.

Perhaps you would like to build some additional folders to help you better organize your email.

1 Creating a Folder

To do this, simply hover over the folder to which you would like to add your new folder(s).

Right click and select “Create New Folder”.

A folder will be created and your cursor will be flashing in the blank space for you to add the name of the folder.

2 Naming a Folder

Once you have named the folder, you can drag and drop any email you would like to keep in that folder in exactly the same way you learned earlier in this tutorial.

By clicking on your new folder, you will now be able to access the email(s) in that folder just as you can with any other folder.

3 Deleting a Folder

Should you later decide that you don’t need the folder you have created, simply mover you emails to another folder, and delete the folder you created, by right clicking on it and selecting “Delete” from the drop-down.

Settings

Great, so you’ve mastered how to organize by building and populating specific folders. Now let’s take a look at your settings. The settings for your email are accessed by clicking the cog shape at the top right of your screen.

1 Access Settings

Clicking the cog shape will open a drop-down menu of settings options.

2 Choose Options

By choosing “Options” in the drop-down, you will be taken to a page where you can edit your profile.

It is suggested that you start by adding a signature line to your email account. If you choose to do so, just select “Settings” in the left hand menu.

3 Explore

The interface that allows you to change your email signature works very similarly to MS Word.
 

4 Additional Shortcuts

We encourage you to explore the functionality from here. On the accounts page you may also have noticed some additional shortcuts.

5 Additional Settings

You can also access the settings for additional apps from the settings page, including; tasks, calendar, regional time, and password reset.

6 Leave Settings

To leave settings at any time, just click the arrow in the top left of the screen.

7 App Links

When you do return to your email interface, you will see links to use the apps, mentioned earlier, in the upper right of your screen.

8 Top of Email Folders

One final feature to help you better manage your email are the sought options available at the top of your email folders.
