How to Send and Receive Large Files Using ShareFile

Internally and Externally

1 Help Desk Support

From the eDashboard click on the “Help Desk Support” Button in the left hand navigation bar.

2 Sharefile.com

At the Cloud9 site type “http://sharefile.com” into the browser.

3 Sign In

Click Sign in from the Pop Up Window

User Details

You will be prompted for your user name and password. Enter them and click “Sign In” below.

5 File Box

You will always enter the eDashboard in the “File Box” folder. This is where uploaded files arrive.

6 Click Request

You may not drag and drop files directly. In order to upload files to the eDashboard, a link must be used. Click “Request” to send yourself or someone else an upload link.

The link will be sent to the email address specified. Just click the “Click here to upload files” link in the email.

8 Browse Files

This will open the drag and drop interface. Now you can add files to the eDashboard by either dragging them to the interface or by clicking “Browse files” and then selecting the ones you want to upload.

9 Confirmation Screen

Once you have successfully completed the upload, you will see a confirmation screen.

10 Return to File Box

You can now return to the “File Box” folder, and you will see your document near the top of the list of files in the folder.

11 Desktop Access

You can move the file to any folder on the eDashboard in the same way you would on your own desktop.

Anyone with authorized access can now access the file on the eDashboard.

12 Log Out

When you are finished using ShareFile, be sure to “Log Out” by using the link in the top right of the screen.
